ParaScale Parallel Performance Load SharingParaScale’s intellectual property includes NFS mount redirection that provides load sharing capabilities for any number of clients. At time of first mount, ParaScale determines which storage node will satisfy that request based on current conditions. That mount request is transparently redirected to a storage node and all I/O activity is satisfied directly to the client. Data does not pass through the control node and bandwidth is never bottlenecked. Hot File System Scaling Changing demand and load on storage is unpredictable and difficult to manage in traditional systems. With ParaScale, hot file systems can be replicated to multiple nodes, each serving requests to provide massive parallel performance. Over time additional nodes can be added non-disruptively to address increased requirements while at the same time benefiting from lower costs and technology advancements.
