Parascale Network Capacity Scaling Solutions Adding storage nodes to a ParaScale cloud provides increased capacity. The storage from each node is automatically added to the overall physical pool increasing available capacity to the entire storage cloud.
ParaScale minimizes hardware costs by allowing administrators to buy additional disk or servers only as needed. Servers can be from different vendors and utilize unique configurations. The ParaScale cloud storage software is also agnostic to disk size within the server. As per disk capacities grow, the storage cloud will adapt, enabling greater economies of scale and cost savings. 
Storage Nodes are installed and provisioned without interrupting ParaScale operations. Simply install the cloud storage software on any server and provision the disk using one of the administrative interfaces. The software will manage the new disk space and server bandwidth consistent with the Rule Based Policy Engine. When it comes time to retire or upgrade a server the cloud storage solution will automatically move the data to other nodes to enable a clean and simple infrastructure change. Adding, upgrading or removing nodes from the storage cloud is an online operation and does not require a service outage window.
