ParaScale and Vembu

Service Providers can use the ParaScale Cloud Storage Solution as a backend to Vembu's StoreGrid Backup software.

ParaScale has partnered with Vembu to allow Enterprises to create a Hosted Private Backup Cloud using commodity hardware. To configure the backup solution, you first need to install StoreGrid in client mode in all your Customer's machines. Backup data from client machines is sent over the  Internet to the Service Provider's backup location, where StoreGrid is installed in the backup server in the Server Mode. In the StoreGrid Server at the service provider location, the Parascale Storage Cloud  is configured as the backend storage. The Backup Server then writes the data securely into Parascale's scalable cloud storage system.
