How do I download the ParaScale cloud storage software?

You can download the ParaScale cloud storage software after completing the registration form located on the "Download ParaScale Software" page.

How much does it cost to try ParaScale?

ParaScale is free to try. Anyone is eligible to download a copy and create a 4TB storage cloud free of charge. That’s right, free cloud storage for everyone.

Can anyone sign-up for ParaScale trials?

Yes, with our software download model we can host trials anywhere in the world.

Do I need hardware to try and build a ParaScale storage cloud?

Yes. We have two versions of the software available on our customer site. The first, a collection of VMware server images, is for demonstration purposes only. The second option is ParaScale software RPMs that install on Redhat or CentOS Linux running on standard hardware.

Can I try and build a ParaScale storage cloud in a virtual machine environment?

For initial testing and demonstration purposes you can run ParaScale on virtual machines. We do not recommend running ParaScale Control Nodes in virtual machines for production environments. Please see the product documentation for more details.
